Chief Executive, Sir, you made big promises in your policy address on the environment and about cleaning up Hong Kong.

Politicians talk a lot, and promise much - but always find reasons for not delivering. We the people of Hong Kong want actions, not words.

So we have a simple challenge for you, Donald Tsang – you have talked the talk, now walk the walk. Put actions to your promises.

Clean up the water of our fragrant harbour, make it clean enough that you are willing to swim in it, swim from Central to Tsim Sha Tsui.

You have five years as Chief Executive to do this – England has cleaned up the Thames, New York is cleaning up the Hudson… So surely Hong Kong can clean up its harbour - you have money in the bank, make your legacy to Hong Kong, Donald - a clean vibrant harbour.

政界人士向來信誓旦旦，他們總找到理由不把諾言兌現，但香港人期望的，卻是行動多於輕言。

因此，行政長官曾蔭權先生，既然您已經作出承諾，我們便給您一個簡單的訴求：請以行動證明您的諾言，把施政報告中的建議付之實行。

促請您徹底解決維港的污染問題，讓維港重拾昔日的碧綠清澈，異味不再，直至您也膽敢在維港裡暢泳，從中環一直游呀游，游到對面海。

行政長官曾蔭權先生，請即清潔維港。您願意下水，我們就奉陪。

看看英國政府，他們已清理了泰晤士河！紐約市政府也潔淨了哈德遜河！
而且香港政府財政穩健、儲備充足，要把維港清理得乾乾淨淨應該也是舉手之勞吧。
我們懇請行政長官於您的五年任期內，為香港作出這方面的貢獻，
給予我們一個充滿生氣的維港。
